Asalaam-o-Alaikum!
The word “Bhag Nagar” means the town (Place) of fortune. In seventeen
century when a saint started living here it was just a forest (jungle). He
spent most of his time to pay homage to ALLAH Almighty. He was very noble,
wise, brave and kind hearted. Due to his kind and miraculous training, with
the passage of time people from surrounding started settling there. He spent
every second of his life in worshiping of GOD and serving the humanity. The
name of that great saint was Kalim Ullah (Lolak). He served Islam till his
death.
Due to his name Lolak people start saying this forest (Jungle) “Lola
Jungle”. In these days Almighty ALLAH blessed Lolak with a son. He was well
respected man. His father educated him in Quran and made him Hafiz. The
Child was different from other people in his habits and ways of living. He
became a religious leader and preaching of Islam. That saint renamed this
“Lola Jungle” as “Bhag Nagar”.
The name of the great saint was Hafiz Pir
Ghulam Mustafa. His tomb is in the middle of village. In the west of village
Jhelum River is flowing, in east Canal Upper Jhelum is flowing, in the south
a stream is flowing with beautiful sights which is known as “JABA” and in
the north almost 30 Km away there is Mangla Dam.
The village Bhag Nagar
consists of almost 300 houses and it is central village of area. Bhag Nagar
village has High School for both boys and girls and one Hospital. Four
concreted road leads from Bhag Nagar Lodhi chok to other village. It becomes
a wonderful sight when we see the lines of girls and boys coming and going
from school to their village.
May this village (Bhag Nagar) live long with its glory (InshALLAH)
